JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will perform pavement repair work on westbound Bannister Road (W Hwy) over I-435. These repairs will require the closure of one lane eastbound and one lane westbound on Bannister (W Hwy) over I-435, overnight, beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4. This will not be a complete closure.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
