ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Drivers traveling on westbound Interstate 70 at Cave Springs Road will not be able to access the westbound Cave Springs exit ramp overnight Tuesday, October 3.
Crews will be installing temporary barrier wall from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. This work is part of constructing the exit ramp into its final configuration. All work is weather permitting.
The Cave Springs and Zumbehl interchanges are being converted into single point urban interchanges (SPUI) for the I-70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds Design-Build Project. As construction on this project progresses, both interchanges will remain open to drivers.
