Public Meeting Scheduled to Share Data from Route 67 Road Safety Assessment

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will hold an open-house style public meeting to share data from the Route 67 Road Safety Assessment (RSA) on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The public meeting will be held at the West Alton City Hall, 111 Richard Dr., West Alton, MO 63386.

In anticipation of upcoming corridor maintenance activities, MoDOT is investigating potential geometric, operational, and safety improvements along Route 67 in West Alton, MO, including the at-grade intersections at Cinder Road, Red School Road, Route 94/Richard Drive, and St. Charles Street.

Attendees will have the opportunity to assist in identifying problems and sharing their views, which will be considered in the development and selection of future improvements for the Route 67 corridor between the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers.

Individuals can stop by at any time during the open house to view RSA data and speak with Route 67 project team members. A formal presentation is not scheduled.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on the project by completing a comment form while at the meeting or online after the meeting at https://tinyurl.com/mt44h6ax.

Access for people with disabilities is available. People with disabilities who require special services at the public meeting should notify Senior Communications Specialist Charlene Goston by Oct. 3 at 314-624-3765 so arrangements for those services can be made.
