CLAY COUNTY – Crews will continue pavement sawing and patching along portions of Interstate 35 near MO Route 33 and MO Route 92, Sept. 27-29. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting. Once patching work is completed crews will diamond grind the surface to smooth out the patches.
Sept. 27
- Crews will close one lane of northbound I-35 at MM 24 to 92 from approximately 12:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for pavement patching
Sept. 28
- Crews will close one lane of northbound I-35 at MM 24 to 92 from approximately 12:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for pavement patching
- Crews will close one lane of southbound I-35 at 92 to MM 24 from approximately 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. for pavement grinding.
Sept. 29
- Crews will close one lane of northbound I-35 at MM 24 to 92 from approximately 12:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for pavement patching
- Crews will close one lane of southbound I-35 at 92 to MM 24 from approximately 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. for pavement grinding.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
