CLAY COUNTY –Pavement repairs and milling operations on Interstate 435 in Clay and Platte counties will require ramp closures beginning today through Thursday, Sept. 28. All work is weather permitting. Motorists may experience delays at the following ramp closures:
- Crews will close the southbound US-169 ramp to northbound/ westbound I-435
- Crews will close the eastbound/ southbound I-435 ramp to southbound US-169
- Crews will close the northbound US-169 ramp to eastbound/southbound I-435
- Crews will close the southbound US-169 cloverleaf ramp to eastbound/southbound I-435
- Crews will close the eastbound/southbound I-435 cloverleaf ramp to northbound US-169
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
