JEFFERSON CITY - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work planned in the mid-Missouri area Sept. 25 – Oct 1. Weather conditions may postpone the scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.
All Counties
Moving operations such as mowing, brush cutting, and pavement repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert for slow-moving equipment.
Boone County
Route BB – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route B – Roadside work planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route F – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is currently closed at the Coon Creek Bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2023.
Route BB – Bridge replacement continues. The road is currently closed over Interstate 70. A signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2023.
Routes H, K, and AB – Road resurfacing continues. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Friday. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
I-70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2025.
Callaway County
Route B – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Routes AD and CC – Road resurfacing continues. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., Monday through Friday. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2023.
Camden County
Route A from Route C to city limits of Richland – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 5 – Road resurfacing and guardrail installation and replacement continues from the Niangua River Bridge to Missouri Route 52 in Morgan County. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. between Route 52 and Missouri Route 7. A 12-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
Cole County
Route D – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route D – Sealing operations planned Sept. 27 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
U.S. Route 50 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from U.S. Route 54 to Dix Road and from North Shamrock Road to Vetter Lane. Width restrictions are in place. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2023.
U.S. Route 50 westbound – Bridge rehabilitation continues over the Moreau River. An around-the-clock lane closure and 11-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration of the project, which is scheduled for completion in October 2023.
Missouri Route 179 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. from Route B to West Main Street. A 12-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
U.S. Route 50 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Dix Road to Truman Boulevard. A 12-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
U.S. Route 54 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Stadium Boulevard to Main Street. A 14-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
U.S. Route 54 – Safety improvements continue near Hickory Hill. One lane will remain open. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
Cooper County
Missouri Route 179 at Korte Road – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 87 from Interstate -70 to Klinton Drive – Pavement repair planned Sept. 26. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route B – Pavement repair planned Sept. 26. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route EE – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Laclede County
Route AC – Pavement repair planned Sept 25. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Routes E, NN, and VV – Pavement repair planned Sept. 26 - 27. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Maries County
Missouri Route 42 – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 68 from County Road 431 to Route P– Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Miller County
Route C – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is currently closed at the Mill Creek Bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.
Moniteau County
California Drive – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 5 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect daily lane closures between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. from U.S. Route 50 to Missouri Route 52 in Morgan County. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
Morgan County
Missouri Route 5 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect daily lane closures between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Missouri Route 52 to U.S. Route 50 in Moniteau County. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
Route 5 – Road resurfacing and guardrail installation and replacement continues from Route 52 to the Niangua River Bridge in Camden County. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. between Route 52 and Missouri Route 7. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
Route 52 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect daily lane closures between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, from the Benton County line to Versailles. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
Osage County
Missouri Route 133 from U.S. Route 63 to the city of Meta – Pavement repair replacement planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route HH – Pavement repair planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
U.S. Route 50 – Roadside work planned Sept. 25 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Phelps County
Route W – Culvert pipe replacement planned Sept. 27. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route BB – Roadside work planned Sept. 25 - 27. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
James Boulevard – Roadside work planned Sept. 26 - 28. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 68 – Road resurfacing continues. Expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Route 68 at Matlock Drive to Missouri Route 8 at Courtois Creek. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
Interstate 44 – Road resurfacing continues from Exit 186 in Rolla to Exit 195 in St. James. Expect around-the-clock lane closures from U.S. Route 63 to Route 68. An 11-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.
Pulaski County
Missouri Route 17 from Bakersville Road to Battle Lane – Culvert pipe replacement planned Sept. 25. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
