TRAFFIC ALERT: Scheduled double lane closure for NB I-35 in Jackson County, Sept. 23

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will close two lanes of traffic on northbound Interstate 35 from just north of U.S. 169 to where I-35 and I-670 split from approximately 4 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23. This double lane closure is for sign work in preparation for upcoming work on the ramp. Lanes will reopen once work is complete. This is not a complete closure but motorists may experience delays in the area.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
