Veterans Memorial Parkway Scheduled to Close for Corridor Improvements near Foristell

HANNIBAL – Plans are in place to begin work on corridor improvements to Veterans Memorial Parkway/I-70 South Outer Road near Foristell.  This work will require a 60-day closure of Veterans Memorial Parkway/I-70 South Outer Road from just east of South Stringtown Road to just east of Archer Road beginning September 25 at 7:00 a.m. with plans to reopen by Thanksgiving.

Please use alternate routes during the closure.  Motorists will need to us South Stringtown Road to access locations on Archer Road.

Earlier this month, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the $1.1M contract for the cost share project with Warren County to Karrenbrock Construction, Inc. including corridor improvements and a turn lane at Archer Road.  The project is anticipated to be completed by early next year.
