TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane closure scheduled for portions of I-35 near MO Route 92, Sept. 20-22

CLAY COUNTY – Crews will continue pavement patching along portions of Interstate 35 near MO Route 92, Sept. 20-22. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting. Once patching work is completed crews will diamond grind the surface to smooth out the patches.

Wednesday, Sept. 20

  • Crews will close one lane of traffic on southbound I-35 at mile marker 28 to MO Route 92  starting at 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 21

  • Crews will close one lane of traffic on northbound I-35 at mile marker 24 to MO Route 92 starting at 12:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
  • Crews will close one lane of traffic on southbound I-35 at mile marker 28 to MO Route 92 starting at 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 22

  • Crews will close one lane of traffic on northbound I-35 at mile marker 24 to Missouri Route 92 starting at 12:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
  • Crews will close one lane of traffic on southbound I-35 at mile marker 28 to Missouri Route 92 starting at 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
