Greene County – The public is invited to a virtual (online) public meeting starting Monday, October 2, to learn more about plans for replacing the Greene County Route V bridge over Clear Creek north of Ash Grove, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The meeting will be available for two weeks from Monday, October 2, until Monday, October 16, and can be accessed at www.modot.org/southwest.
During 2024, the bridge will be replaced requiring Route V to be closed for up to four months. The new bridge will be 12 feet wider, making it a dual-lane bridge, and will include new barrier walls, guardrails and permanent striping. The current bridge is a single-lane bridge.
For those unable to access the online meeting, they are encouraged to contact MoDOT’s Southwest District Office at 417.895.7600 and accommodations will be made to share the information and gather feedback.
The Greene County Route V bridge project’s estimated total cost is $3.1 million
Construction of the new bridge will take place in 2024.
