ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A scrub seal project in Andrew, Buchanan, and Clinton counties will improve 13 roadways. Contractors from the Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation are scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 25, following the below tentative schedule.
September:
- 25: Andrew County U.S. Route 59 (Country Club Road)
- 26: Andrew/Buchanan counties Loop 29 (North Belt Highway)
- 29: Buchanan County Route 6 (Frederick Boulevard)
October:
- 3: Buchanan County Route AC
- 4: Andrew County U.S. Route 71
- 9: Andrew County Route E
- 10: Andrew County Route C
- 12: Buchanan/Clinton counties Route VV
- 16: Buchanan County Route MM
- 18: Buchanan County Route A
- 20: Buchanan County Route JJ
- 24: Buchanan County Missouri Route 752
- 25: Buchanan County U.S. Route 59
The contractor is planning several brief work zones to minimize the overall impact to motorists. During these time periods, motorists will be directed through the one-lane work zones by flaggers. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place while work zones are active.
Project schedule updates will be provided on the Traveler Information Map (http://traveler.modot.org/map/) and on the Planned Roadwork for Northwest Missouri press release sent out each Friday afternoon. All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
