St. Louis Work Zones September 14-20

ST. LOUIS – Motorists should be aware of interstate lane and ramp closures in the city of St. Louis and St. Louis county over the next week.

Weather permitting, crews will close all lanes of northbound I-55 between River City Boulevard and Broadway in the city of St. Louis to bring in concrete for new decks on several bridges along the corridor. Planned closures are:

  • Friday, September 15, starting at 8 p.m., with northbound lanes reopen by 6 a.m. Saturday, September 16.
  • Monday, September 18, starting at 11 p.m., with northbound lanes reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday, September 19.

Also starting Friday, crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-44 to northbound I-270 (Exit 276) Friday, September 15 at 8 p.m. for continuing bridge preventative maintenance. The ramps to southbound I-270 and one lane from westbound I-44 to northbound I-270 will remain open.

All lanes and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, September 18.

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one left lane closed from Cass to south of the Broadway overpass until mid-October 2023.

  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound and the ramp from Loughborough to northbound will be closed through 2023.
