Permit work will require lane closures on Missouri Route 9 in Clay County, TODAY -Sept. 27

CLAY COUNTY – Permit work for pavement and striping operations will take place on northbound and southbound Missouri Route 9 (Burlington) in North Kansas City. All work is weather permitting. Motorists may experience delays at the following locations:

Wednesday, Sept. 13 – Friday, Sept. 15

  • Crews will close one lane on northbound MO Route 9 at Armour Road to 26th Avenue between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m

Saturday, Sept. 16

  • Crews will close one lane on southbound MO Route 9 at Armour Road to 26th Avenue between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m

Monday, Sept. 18 – Thursday, Sept. 21

  • Crews will close one lane on northbound MO Route 9 at Armour Road to 26th Avenue between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 25 – Wednesday, Sept. 27

  • Crews will close one lane on southbound MO Route 9 at Armour Road to 26th Avenue between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
