JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – Girder placement for the new Boone County Route BB bridge over Interstate 70 will require interstate traffic to be narrowed and rerouted this Thursday evening, Sept. 14. For the safety of motorists, while the girders are placed over the interstate, I-70 traffic will be narrowed to one lane in each direction and redirected to the on/off ramps at Exit 115. The traffic shift is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and should conclude by 6 a.m. Motorists should expect delays.
The Route BB bridge replacement project is on schedule for completion by the end of October.
All projects are weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
