MoDOT to close ramps between I-270 and I-44 September 15-18

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Interstate 44 near I-270 in St. Louis County should allow extra time or consider alternate routes to avoid ramp closures this weekend.

Weather permitting, crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-44 to northbound I-270 (Exit 276) Friday, September 15 at 8 p.m. for continuing bridge preventative maintenance. The ramps to southbound I-270 and one lane from westbound I-44 to northbound I-270 will remain open.

Crews will also close the right lane on northbound I-270 and the right lane on southbound I-270 near I-44 from 8 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday.  The ramps from southbound I-270 to westbound and eastbound I-44 will remain open, as will access from Watson to both westbound I-44 and northbound I-270.

All lanes and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, September 18.

To detour around the eastbound to northbound closure, drivers can continue southbound on I 270 to Route 30 (Gravois Road/Exit 3), cross over the interstate and continue northbound.
