CLAY COUNTY – Crews will be performing pavement repair and milling operations on I-435 in Clay and Platte Counties that will require various lane closures. All work is weather permitting. Motorists may experience delays at the following locations:
Tuesday, Sept. 12 and Wednesday, Sept. 13
- Crews will close one lane on northbound and southbound I-435 starting at NE 108th St. to approximately just pass NW Cookingham Dr. between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 14 - Wednesday, Oct. 4
- Crews will close one lane on northbound and southbound I-435 starting at NE 108th St. to approximately just pass NW Cookingham Dr. daily starting at 7 p.m. (24 HOURS, 7 DAYS A WEEK.)
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
