MoDOT: Nighttime Resurfacing U.S. Route 60 in Rogersville Beginning the night of September 17

Rogersville – Drivers can expect nighttime lane closures and occasional traffic delays on U.S. Route 60 in Rogersville for a resurfacing project beginning the night of Sunday, September 17, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Route 60 will receive a new asphalt driving surface, edge line rumble strips, shoulder repairs, guardrail, and road markings in various locations. Crews will work nighttime hours of 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. from Sunday – Thursday. Resurfacing work will begin on westbound Route 60 west of Webster County Route V in Rogersville and work toward the east. When the westbound lanes are complete, crews will begin on the eastbound lanes.

Project Locations:

  • Route 60 between west of Highland Springs Boulevard east of Springfield and west of Missouri Route 125 in Rogersville
  • Route 60 between east of Route 125 in Rogersville and west of Webster County Route V in Rogersville

Traffic Impacts:

  • Traffic reduced to one lane where contractor crews are laying asphalt during nighttime hours
  • Route 60 Open
  • Drivers may encounter flaggers where crews are working
  • All lanes will be open during daytime hours
  • No signed detour
  • Drivers should find alternate routes
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
