MoDOT to close westbound lane, exit ramp on Interstate 44 to U.S. Route 50

FRANKLIN COUNTY – Motorist who use Route 50 should be aware of ramp and traffic shifts starting Tuesday evening.

Weather permitting, crews will close one westbound lane on Interstate 44 and the exit ramp to U.S. Route 50 for two nights while crews make pavement repairs from Route O to Route 50.

Crews will close one westbound lane on Interstate 44 starting Tuesday, September 12 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. and Wednesday, September 13, from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. The westbound exit ramp from Interstate 44 to U.S. Route 50 will close from 8 p.m. until 12 a.m. Tuesday, September 12 and Wednesday, September 13 starting at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Message boards will include closure details and detour routes. Drivers may use U.S. Route 100 exit ramp to Route AT as alternate route.
