Buchanan County ramp from southbound I-29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 to close

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The ramp from southbound Interstate 29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 will close tomorrow for pavement repairs. Crews from Herzog Contracting Corp., along with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to close the ramp on Friday, Sept. 8 at 3 p.m. The repairs are scheduled to be complete, and the ramp reopened the morning of Saturday, Sept. 9.

Short-term closures for paving will affect the ramps connecting from I-29 southbound with U.S. Route 36 overnight on Friday.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure.
