MoDOT to close northbound Route 79 entrance ramp to eastbound Interstate 70 at Dardenne Creek

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Northbound Route 79 drivers wishing to access eastbound Interstate 70 should be aware that the Route 79 entrance ramp to eastbound I-70 will be closed starting at 11 p.m. Friday, September 8. All work is weather permitting.

During this work, the far two right lanes of eastbound I-70 at the Route 79 entrance ramp will also be closed. The lane closures and the eastbound I-70 entrance ramp is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Sunday, September 10.

Motorists will be detoured to continue north on Route 79, exit at East Terra Lane and loop around and under Route 79 and enter southbound Route 79 to head east on I-70.

This work is part of the I-70 bridge maintenance project. Crews will be working on eastbound Interstate 70 at Dardenne Creek.
