CLAY COUNTY – Crews will be performing pavement repair and milling operations on I-435 in Clay County that will require various single lane and ramp closures. All work is weather permitting. Motorists may experience delays at the following locations:
Friday, Sept. 1 – Thursday, Sept. 7
The following ramps will be closed one at a time for milling and paving operations:
- Southbound I-435 ramp to westbound MO-152, westbound MO-152 to southbound I-435, southbound I-435 to eastbound MO-152 (24 hrs)
- MO-152 to northbound I-435, northbound I-435 to westbound MO-152, westbound MO-152 to northbound I-435 (24 hrs)
Tuesday, Sept. 5- Friday, Sept. 22
- Crews will be conducting shoulder milling and paving operations on northbound and southbound I-435 starting at U.S. Route 69 to NE 108th Street between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 21- Friday, Sept. 22
- Crews will close one lane for pavement repair operations on northbound and southbound I-435 starting at U.S. Route 69 to NE 108th Street between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
