SIKESTON―Route 77 in Cape Girardeau and Scott counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform shoulder repairs and overlay the roadway.
This section of roadway is located from Route 25 to Route 61 near Morley, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
