CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close one lane on Interstate 35 South of MO Route 92 at Mile Marker 30 to Mile Marker 24 for pavement patching starting Monday, Aug. 28 - Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 6:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting. Once patching work is completed crews will diamond grind the surface to smooth out the patches.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
