Beginning the Week of August 28 for Railroad Work
What: Railroad Closures at the following locations
- Greene County
- Route AB between Farm Road 124 and Elwood Lane west of Springfield
- Route EE at Farm Road 81 east of Bois D’Arc
- Route UU between Route T and Farm Road 106 in Bois D’Arc
- Dade County
- Route M south of Commercial Street in Everton
- Route N south of Route 160 west of Lockwood
- Route MM south of Farm Road 241 west of Ash Grove
- Barton County
- Route 160 west of County Road 21 east of Golden City
- Route T between Route U and SE 45th Road northwest of Golden City
- Route KK between 20th Street and 21st Street in Lamar
When: Beginning the week of Monday, August 28 until complete
Details: Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway doing repairs on the railroad. Railroad crossings are to be closed intermittently and for no more than 2 days. Crews will begin in Lamar in Barton County and head toward Springfield in Greene County.
Traffic Impacts:
- Railroad crossings are to be closed for no more than 2 days
- Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zones, but will not be able to travel through the work zones
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
