HANNIBAL – A resurfacing project located on Route EE in Clark County, from Business U.S. 136 in Kahoka to the end of state maintenance at County Road 180, is expected to begin August 23, 2023.
The $2,471,600 contract, awarded this last year to W.L. Miller Company of Hamilton, IL. The contract includes an additional resurfacing project located on Route Z in Lewis County, from Missouri Route 16 near Monticello to Route V. All work scheduled to be completed by early Fall.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction in place during the day at the location where crews are actively working for the duration of the project. Flaggers and a pilot car will be utilized to direct motorists through the work zone. Workers will be present during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
For the safety of the crews and the traveling public, we would like to remind drivers to be attentive in work zones and make smart, safe driving choices behind the wheel, including putting down your cell phone to eliminate distractions.
Work with us in the work zone! Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel. With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
