- Northbound Kansas Expressway/Missouri Route 13 left turn lane to westbound Walnut Street CLOSED
- Southbound Kanas Expressway/Missouri Route 13 right turn lane to westbound Walnut Street CLOSED
- Westbound Walnut Street driving lane to cross Kansas Expressway/Missouri Route 13 CLOSED
When: Monday, August 14 until Monday, August 21
Details: City of Springfield doing repairs on the railroad at Walnut Street, west of Kansas Expressway/Route 13
Traffic Impacts:
- Northbound Kansas Expressway/Route 13 left turn lane to westbound Walnut Street CLOSED
- Southbound Kanas Expressway/Route 13 right turn lane to westbound Walnut Street CLOSED
- Westbound Walnut Street driving lane to cross Kansas Expressway/Route 13 CLOSED.
- Westbound Walnut Street traffic can make left and right turns onto Kansas Expressway, but cannot drive across Kansas Expressway
- Kansas Expressway/Route 13 is OPEN
- Drivers may encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
