CASS COUNTY – Crews performing bridge maintenance will make the following various lane closures from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4:
There will be various lane closures on NB and SB I-49 at the following locations for bridge maintenance: The following will NOT be complete closures.
- I-49 NB and SB at the bridges over 195th St.
- I-49 NB at the bridge over East Fork East Branch South Grand River
- I-49 NB and SB at the bridges over Mechanic St. to the Commercial St. exit
All work is weather dependent. Motorists may experience delays in the area.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
