SIKESTON―Route P in New Madrid County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews trim the trees along the roadside.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 727 to County Road 711 near Farrenburg, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Aug. 8 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
