CASS COUNTY – Crews will close the I-49 outer road (Peculiar Drive) in both directions from just south of 237th street to just past the bridge over the East Branch South Grand River for demolition and reconstruction of the bridge. This closure will be in place from approximately 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8 until 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17. All work is weather dependent. Motorists may experience delays in the area.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
