Ramp closure scheduled for NB MO-7 at NB I-49, lane closure scheduled for NB I-49, Aug. 7 - Sept. 22

CASS COUNTY – Crews working on the bridge replacement and intersection improvement project on MO-7 South over I-49 will make the following closures:

Beginning Monday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Sept. 22

  • Crews will close the ramp from northbound MO-7 to northbound I-49
  • Crews will close the right lane on northbound I-49 from just south of the I-49 NB to MO-7 South exit ramp to just past the entrance ramp from MO-7 to NB I-49.

* NB MO-7 traffic wanting to access NB I-49 must continue on NB MO-7 and turn right at the intersection.

This work is part of a larger project to complete two bridge replacements and make intersection improvements to MO-7 South (275th street) over I-49.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
