Show-Me Zero: Making Missouri SAFER

Come learn more about Missouri’s comprehensive approach to eliminating fatalities and serious injuries on Missouri’s roadways. This presentation will provide an overview of Missouri’s strategic highway safety plan, Show-Me Zero, and highlight the most prominent factors influencing traffic safety outcomes in the state. The presentation will also introduce a number of tools and resources designed to assist agencies in safety planning and countermeasures, including the new SAFER tool and the Traffic Engineering Assistance Program (TEAP).

Meet Missouri's Safety Circuit Rider, find out the history of the Safety Circuit Rider program and how it can help you. Additionally, we'll have speakers that will discuss how safety has been officially adopted into their practices through Local Road Safety Plans and being a Vision Zero city. They'll be able to discuss what efforts it took to get there and the benefits it has provided.
