MoDOT to Hold Public Meeting to Discuss Upcoming Turn Lane Project on Route 95 in Wright County

SIKESTON—The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10 to discuss plans for pavement widening and the addition of a turn lane on Route 95 near the U.S. 60 Interchange to Business 60 in Mountain Grove, Missouri.

The meeting will be held at the Mountain Grove City Hall, 100 East State Street, Mountain Grove, Missouri.

The project will include widening Route 95 from near the U.S. 60 Interchange to Business 60 through Mountain Grove to include a center turn lane. In addition, access points along the corridor will be moved and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalks will be improved.

Construction could begin as early as spring 2026, with completion anticipated by fall 2027. As work is underway, lane reductions will be necessary. Motorists should seek alternate routes during the lane reductions.
