JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will close the ramp from eastbound Interstate 670 to northbound I-70/I-29/US-71 for work zone setup from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 22.
After the initial closure, for work zone setup, crews will begin to repair the bridge deck on the ramp through approximately Nov. 1. During this time, the ramp will remain OPEN to traffic. This repair work may require periodic traffic shifts and motorists may experience delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
