Lane closure scheduled for portions of I-35 near MO Route PP and MO Route 92, through July 21

CLAY COUNTY – Crews will continue pavement patching along portions of Interstate 35 near MO Route PP and MO Route 92, July 19-21. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Wednesday, July 19

• Crews will close one lane of traffic on northbound I-35 from Missouri Route 92 to mile marker 27 starting at 3 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Crews will close one lane of traffic on southbound I-35 from Missouri Route 92 to mile marker 92 starting at 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 20

• Crews will close one lane of traffic on northbound I-35 from Missouri Route 92 to mile marker 27 starting at 3 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Crews will close one lane of traffic on southbound I-35 from Missouri Route PP to mile marker 27 starting at 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Friday, July 21

• Crews will close one lane of traffic on northbound I-35 from Missouri Route 92 to mile marker 28 starting at 3 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Crews will close one lane of traffic on southbound I-35 from Missouri Route PP to mile marker 27 starting at 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
