PLATTE COUNTY – Crews will complete paving work which will require the closure of the ramp from I-29 northbound to I-435 southbound from approximately Tuesday, July 18th at 7 p.m. until Wednesday, July 19th at 6 a.m. Traffic will be able to turn around at Missouri Route 92 in Platte City. All work is weather permitting and subject to change. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and seek alternate routes if needed. This is a part of a larger project to repave I-435 from Platte City to the Kansas state line.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
