PLATTE COUNTY – Crews will be conducting slide repairs and guardrail improvements along portions of southbound Interstate 29 at mile marker 25.8 beginning July 18th through all of August. There will be one lane closed on southbound I-29 starting Tuesday, July 18 from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 19 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Daily lane closures will occur on an as-needed basis throughout the length of the project. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
