RAY COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing Missouri Route 10 over West Fork of Crooked River between Richmond and Wood Heights for a bridge replacement. Work will begin on Monday, July 24, and the project is scheduled to last until the end of November. Motorists along Missouri Route 10 will need to seek alternate routes during the closure. The detours are Missouri Route M, Missouri Route U, and Missouri Route C. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
