Permit work will require lane closures at intersection of Route 9 and Armour Road

Work will take place July 8-9 and July 15-16 in North Kansas City

CLAY COUNTY – Permit work for gas main line relocation will take place in North Kansas City at the intersection of Missouri Route 9 (Burlington) and Armour Road from approximately 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. July 8-9 and July 15-16.

The following CLOSURES will be in place as part of this work:

  • MO Route 9 (Burlington) northbound right lane at the Armour Road intersection
  • MO Route 9 (Burlington) southbound left turn lane at the Armor Road intersection
  • Armour Road at MO Route 9 (Burlington) - COMPLETE CLOSURE

There will be signed detours for the closures listed above. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
