CLAY COUNTY – Permit work to preform sewer line hydro-jet and flushing operations will close one lane of northbound Missouri Route 9 (Burlington) starting at E. 18th Street to E. 23rd Street in North Kansas City. This work will begin on Wednesday, June 28 until June 30 from approximately 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Additional work may also take place on July 5. This will not be a complete closure. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
