St. Louis Work Zones June 29 -July 5

ST. LOUIS – To reduce congestion and ease travel during the July 4 holiday, MoDOT in St. Louis will suspend most work on interstates and state highways, starting Friday, June 30 at 4 p.m.

Traffic will still be restricted in areas where there are permanent barriers, such as along the I-270 North project and along westbound I-44 near the Route 66 State Park. Emergency roadwork will also be performed as needed. Work on all construction projects will resume July 5 at 5 a.m.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures: 

  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from westbound to Broadway is closed through mid-July.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two left lanes closed northbound and southbound between Lindbergh and Gravois until December 2023.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound and the ramp from Loughborough to northbound will be closed through 2023.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough will be closed through 2023.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman, the ramp from Arsenal and the ramp from Cherokee to southbound I-55 closed through December 2023.
  • I-70/44, St. Louis City, express lanes and the ramp from the express lanes to Broadway are closed through August 2023.
  • I-70/44, St. Louis City, westbound Broadway exit closed starting at 9 a.m. Monday, June 26.
  • I-70/44, St. Louis City, Biddle on-ramp to 70/44 closed through early summer 2023.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, southbound Broadway bridge over the interstate is closed through early summer 2023.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, the ramp from the north outer road near Route 66 State Park to westbound is closed through September.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Williams Road and Lewis Road through December 2023.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, the Lackland Bridge over the interstate will be closed through July 2023.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, one southbound right lane will be closed south of Route 180 through July 2023.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one lane is closed on the one-way outer road (Pershall Road) from West Florissant to New Halls Ferry through summer 2023.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one lane is closed on the one-way outer road (Pershall Road) at Ford Road through June 2023.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one lane is closed on the one-way outer road (Dunn Road) from New Halls Ferry to Washington/Elizabeth through mid-summer 2023.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, Riverview Dr. entrance ramp to eastbound I-270 closed through July 2024.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, southbound Riverview Dr. under I-270 closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one northbound and one southbound lane closed at Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road).
  • I-270, St. Louis County, the ramp from New Halls Ferry to westbound will be closed through August.
  • I-255, St. Louis County, one lane on eastbound and westbound closed between Telegraph Rd. and Illinois through December.
  • I-255, St. Louis County, the ramp from westbound to Koch Road is closed through December.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, one eastbound lane closed between Andrew Drive and Monier Place through October.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, one westbound lane closed between Glendale Gardens Drive to North Sappington through October.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, one eastbound lane closed across the Meramec River through mid-August.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound and southbound lane closed north of Route 94.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, southbound 141 closed between Lakefront and Shoreline Drive.
  • Route 367, St. Louis County, the ramp from Chambers Road to northbound Route 367 will be closed until 7 p.m. Friday, June 23.
  • Route 370, St. Louis County, until early July, one lane closed westbound around the clock across the Missouri River.
  • Route 364, St. Charles County, one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Muegge Road and Missouri River until summer 2023.
  • Muegge Road, St. Charles County, ramp to westbound Route 94 and ramp to eastbound Route 364 are closed through summer 2023.
  • Route M, Jefferson County, one eastbound and one westbound lane closed from St. Lukes to east of Moss Hollow through December 2023.
  • Route HH, Franklin County, all lanes closed over Calvey Creek through June 2023.
