MoDOT to close WB I-44 ramp to Broadway ramp for three weeks June 26

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use westbound I-44 (formerly eastbound I-70) to Broadway to get into downtown St. Louis will need to consider alternate routes as the Missouri Department of Transportation will close the ramp for three weeks starting June 26.

Crews will close the ramp heading into the city of St. Louis from westbound I-44 to Broadway (Exit 292B) June 26 after morning rush. The ramp will remain closed as crews rebuild the ramp from mainline I-44 to Broadway.

Drivers can use the ramp from eastbound I-70 to Tucker (Exit 249B) or from westbound I-44 to Convention Plaza (Exit 292A) to get into the downtown area while the ramp is closed.

Work on the project to replace the Broadway bridge over I-44 continues through this summer.
