Where: Missouri Route 59 in McDonald County between Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railroad crossing south to Missouri/Arkansas state line
When: 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday, beginning week of June 26
What: Contractor crews adding new pavement striping on Route 59 in McDonald County
Traffic Impacts:
- Drivers may experience traffic delays as they approach train of slow-moving vehicles laying pavement striping on the highway
- Drivers should maintain a safe distance behind striping vehicles to avoid tracking through freshly painted lines
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zones
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
This work is part of a contract to resurface Route 59 in McDonald and Newton counties and Missouri Route 76 and Route F in McDonald County.
