TRAFFIC ALERT: Eastbound I-44 Ramps at Mulroy Road OPEN to Traffic at Mile Marker 84

Where: Eastbound I-44 on- and off ramps at Mulroy Road (Exit 84) in Springfield

When: As of 2 p.m., Friday, June 16

What: Contractor crews have completed south end of “dog bone” interchange, eastbound ramps OPEN to traffic

Traffic Impacts:

  • Eastbound on- and off- ramps at Mile Marker 84 are OPEN to traffic
  • Westbound on- and off- ramps remain CLOSED
  • Eastbound I-44 traffic can access southbound Mulroy Road only
  • Mulroy Road bridge over I-44 remains CLOSED
  • Westbound I-44 drivers should continue to find alternate routes
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zones
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
