CLAY COUNTY – Crews will continue pavement repair work on I-435 in Clay County. This work will take place at various times June 12-16.
UPDATED:
- June 14: I-435 northbound from US 69 to NE 108th Street will be reduced to one lane from approximately 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- June 15-16: I-435 southbound from NE 108th Street to US 69 will be reduced to one lane from approximately 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This work will require the complete CLOSURE of the following:
- June 16: I-435 southbound ramp to MO-152 westbound will be closed from approximately 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- June 16: I-435 southbound ramp to I-35 southbound will be closed from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All work is weather permitting. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
In addition, the following curb and median repair work will take place approximately 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., June 12-15, along the eastbound and westbound lanes over northbound and southbound I-435.
This work will NOT require a complete closure and all ramps will remain open to traffic:
- NE 108th Street over I-435
- NE 96th Street over I-435
- Shoal Creek Pkwy over I-435
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
