Traffic Alert: Bridge sealing work scheduled for Three Trails Crossing area beginning June 12

JACKSON COUNTY –  Crews will be completing bridge sealing work requiring the closure of various lanes and ramps in the Three Trails Crossing area beginning on Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16. All work will be completed between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. The exact time and date of these closures will vary due to the scope of the work being done so motorists should be prepared to encounter lane closures and / or total ramp closures in the area during the week of June 12. Additionally, the following ramps are subject to total closures, however, only one will be closed at a time and the exact dates will vary. Motorists should be prepared to seek alternate routes.

  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from Route W (Bannister Road) to southbound I-435. The exact date and time will vary but the closure will not occur until at least 9 p.m.. Motorists should be prepared to seek alternate routes.
  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from northbound I-435 to southbound I-49. The exact date and time will vary but the closure will not occur until at least  9 p.m. Motorists should be prepared to seek alternate routes.
  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from northbound I-49 to eastbound I-470. The exact date and time will vary but the closure will not occur until at least  9 p.m. Motorists should be prepared to seek alternate routes.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
