SIKESTON—Southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform shoulder work.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 100.8 to mile marker 100.6 near Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
