Southbound I-270 at Route 180 Will Be Reduced to Two Lanes Beginning May 24

ST. LOUIS -- Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews will be shifting lanes on southbound and northbound I-270 at Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Rd.) on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23 and 24 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., reducing the highway from five lanes to two.

The lane shift is in preparation of the closure of one southbound lane of  I-270 at Route 180 on Wednesday, May 24 at 4 a.m.  Southbound I-270 will be reduced to two lanes instead of three for approximately three weeks. The closure will allow crews to work on the right lane and shoulder of the Route 180 bridge.  All work is weather permitting.
