HANNIBAL – An seal coat project located on Route H in Warren County, from Route F to Route M near Innsbrook, is expected to begin on May 31.
The $974,162 contract, awarded this last year to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, LLC of St. Louis, includes several additional seal coat projects which will be completed in the order as listed below:
- Warren County, Route AA - From I-70 north outer road in Warrenton to end of state maintenance
- Warren County, Route U - From West Booneslick Road in Warrenton to Missouri Route 94
- Montgomery/Warren County, Route Y - From Missouri Route 19 to Route E in Jonesburg
Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the day at the location where crews are actively working for the duration of the project. For the safety of the crews and the traveling public, we would like to remind drivers to be attentive in work zones and put down your cell phones to eliminate distractions.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone. Workers will be present during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. A 9-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration of the project. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
Work with us in the work zone! Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel. With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
