CLAY COUNTY – Crews will make pavement repairs that will require the CLOSURE of the right most lane of northbound Interstate 35 at mile marker 14.6 (just north of the Pleasant Valley on ramp) beginning today, Tuesday, May 16, until approximately Wednesday, May 31. This work will repair a concrete failure in the area caused by recent rain. Motorists may experience delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
