MoDOT holds public meeting to discuss Route D in city of St. Louis TODAY

ST. LOUIS – Residents who use Route D in the city of St. Louis may want to attend an upcoming open house style public meeting TODAY about the corridor.

Route D is Dr. Martin Luther King Drive from Tucker to the start of Page Boulevard, and then follows Page to the city limits.

The meeting is TODAY from 5-7 p.m. at the Better Family Life Center, 5415 Page Boulevard, St. Louis MO, 63112.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to gather insight from the community to help develop improvements along the corridor that can help make the corridor safer while meeting the community’s goals for the future. It is a similar process to that done on Natural Bridge within the city of St. Louis a few years ago.

The meeting will be between 5-7 p.m.

During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will seek information from the community about their concerns, desires, and vision for the corridor.

There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time TODAY between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a survey form will be available at Route D resurfacing and safety project | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org).  People are welcome to view the information and provide comments about the roadway until Thursday, May 25.

This meeting will allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns about the corridor and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through the survey, on those concerns.
